Sustainability Initiatives
Rainwater Harvesting
Best Wool Sweaters Ltd. has implemented a rainwater harvesting system to conserve groundwater resources. Harvested rainwater is utilized for landscaping, vehicle washing, and product cleaning, reducing dependence on freshwater sources and supporting sustainable water management.
Water Recycling
Treated wastewater from our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is further processed through an ultrafiltration system and reused for washing and gardening. This closed-loop approach minimizes water consumption while promoting environmental stewardship.
Generator Exhaust Heat Recovery
Waste heat recovered from generator exhaust is utilized to operate the chiller system, significantly reducing energy consumption, improving operational efficiency, and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
Condensate Recovery
Our heat recovery system captures hot condensate from steam ironing operations and repurposes it for use in dryer machines. This process conserves thermal energy, reduces fuel consumption, and enhances overall manufacturing efficiency.
Solar Power Generation
As part of our commitment to renewable energy, Best Wool Sweaters Ltd. operates an on-site solar power system with a generation capacity of approximately 28 MWh per month. This clean energy initiative reduces dependence on conventional electricity sources, lowers carbon emissions, and supports our long-term sustainability goals while improving overall energy efficiency.
